As Christians we know that our role is to honour and serve the people our sphere of influence.  We are grieved anytime we hear stories about people in positions of authority abusing their positions to serve selfish or sinful ends.

At Cobourg Alliance Church we want to take every possible step to create a safe and welcoming environments for your whole family to experience Jesus and grow in every part of your life.

THEREFORE WE WILL:

 Promote a safe environment and culture

 Respond promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation

 Care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons

 Care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons

 Respond to those that may pose a present risk to others
