Have you ever struggled with recognizing when God is speaking to you? Have you ever felt that you rarely hear the voice of God in your life? If so, you are not alone! There are many voices that we are bombarded with every day, yet for a follower of Jesus, it is essential that we hear his voice if we are to know him and follow him. Jesus said that “my sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27. To fully experience the life that God has for you, it means being able to cultivate an ear for the voice of Jesus in the midst of a noisy world.
We believe that God is speaking and we know that what He has said (in Scripture) and what he is saying (through His Spirit) is life-giving, transformative and leads us into greater intimacy with Christ. To grow in an understanding of the gospel of Jesus, experience transformative community and engage in God’s mission of restoring a broken world, we must have a humble certainty in hearing his voice – and this is exactly what this Deeper Life Weekend is all about!
Join us for any or all of the sessions on the last weekend of January as we have special guest speaker Rev. Dr. David Chotka with us to lead us through the weekend. To read more about Dr. Chotka, please click here to read his bio.
There are 5 sessions for you to engage with over the course of the weekend. Each session will build on the next, so we do invite you to engage with as many sessions as possible. With that said, if you cannot make it to all of them, please join us for whatever your schedule will permit.
