“We are in the midst of the greatest turning of Muslims to Christ in 14 centuries of Muslim-Christian interaction. More than 80% of all the Muslim movements to Christ in history have occurred in the past two to three decades, a time period that
coincides with the modern prayer movement for Muslims.”
David Garrison, author A Wind in the House of Islam
Last year during Ramadan, a church in the US committed to praying for Muslims to encounter Christ.
Towards the end of Ramadan, a Muslim man walked into the same church and asked to speak with a pastor.
He had had a dream. He dreamed of the prophet Mohammed. In his dream, Mohammed was kneeling in front of a throne and Jesus was sitting on the throne. Mohammed was kneeling in front of Jesus!
The dream and the discussion with the pastor resulted in the man coming to faith in Christ.
Muslims desire to have dreams.
Dreams and visitations from Jesus have been instrumental to several local newcomers in choosing to follow Jesus.
A leader in the local Muslim community has had a visit from Jesus in his dreams.
Pray for follow-up.
Pray with us for Muslims in Northumberland:
Ø For Muslims to meet Jesus in dreams and visions
Ø For Muslims who have spiritual questions, to have the courage to seek answers
Ø For Christians to be ready to boldly and gently give answers to Muslims with questions
Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar and is a time of intense searching for God.
