    COVID-19 Update: June 11, 2020

    June 11, 2020

If you have been following the news this week, you would have heard Ontario will be shifting to a regional approach as we move to the next stage of the reopening plan on Friday. The province will soon be allowing social gatherings of up to 10 people, and churches will be permitted to open at 30-per-cent capacity. Additionally, our daycare has received news they too can move towards a modified reopening.

What does this mean for CAC?

We will not be gathering for an onsite/in-person worship service this Sunday.

We don't want to rush; we want to get it right!

We want to make informed decisions. The COVID committee is expecting additional guidelines from our government and health authorities to help them as they make recommendations for our reopening.

We want to focus on how we gather, not just when and where we gather.

We want to be ONE Church with MANY expressions. We will continue to offer our online services for both kids and adults and look forward to what it might look like to gather together in groups.

We care about you.  We want to give you an opportunity to tell us what we can do to ensure you feel safe when we do reopen. The survey will arrive in your inbox on Sunday and a link will be posted here.  If you want to register for our newsletter, click here.

We are thankful for your patience and flexibility as we navigate the summer months and prepare for the fall.  While we wait for the COVID committee's recommendations and reopening plan, we will continue to worship together online.

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
